Where and how is food distributed?

As Jubilee Church does not have a building or coffee shop at present, Worthing Foodbank uses the WORTHING TABERNACLE to distribute the food.

WORTHING TABERNACLE is LOCATED @ 64, Chapel road, Worthing BN11 1BN -  Through the alleyway at the side of the church building, we are the building to the right of the cafe. Open Monday to Friday from 2pm till 3.30pm . During this time a team of WORTHING FOODBANK volunteers will be at the centre.

Please note the church does not run the projects.

A voucher will be exchanged for the 3 day food supply and volunteers are available for a friendly chat over a drink.

To get help you need to go to the various referring agencies in Worthing, who hold Foodbank voucher. These agencies will take you through an assessment process and find ways to help you long term and in the short term can give you a voucher for food. Worthing Foodbank do not assess or give vouchers but work alongside our various agencies.

Our agencies include CAB, Southdown Services, MyKey, Social Services, Local Assistance Network, Christians Against Poverty, Community Mental Health Team, Mind, Children & Family Centres, Health Centres, Family Intervention Project within the Worthing Police, Home Start, Liaise Debt Advice, Worthing Probation Services, Life Centre, Stonham, The Work Hub, Think Family, Worthing Foyer  and many more
